I see your point..but thats not THE point about Carter...yes hes a skilled centerman, but if were going to unload a bunch of assets why not tweek it abit to get a guy who better suits our needs...Carter is great but dosnt provide the grit and toughness Kessel really needs to stay consistent every year. Lately hes been getting banged around with no one on his line to really do anything about it. Carter would just offer him a drink to drink away his sorrows...

Macarthur's lack of production has been a sore spot this year, but you can say that about a few guys. I do not think it matters whether he stays or goes. If BB can get a pick for him or another part I am okay with it. Guys like Crabb, Lombardi are outplaying him for ice time

Ive accepted that for awhile now ....but neither is Carter, Ryan or Parise


and in all fairness...I think of all those guys Getzlaf has the most chance of ending up here. Albeit a small chance.

Doesn't anyone think that a BIG part in the decline in Mac's production if due to the fact that Kuli can't score on a pylon this year? Pretty sure 20+ of Mac's assists last year were from feeding Kuli...but that option is not viable this season.

These are the lines I would like to see:

Lupul - Bozak - Kessel
Mac - Connolly - Kadri
Lombo - Grabo - Armstrong
Kuli - Steckel - Brown

I think that the line of Mac, Connolly, Kadri had good chemistry before Bozak injury...and for some reason has not been put back together....
