This must've been where Bob got his inspiration for his little shimmy last night @NHLFlyers #Flyers #Bobrovskyshuffle: - aightwebang17
The only thing that would have made that better was if a puck went whizzing by him at the end.

Hartnell on WIP.
Took his dad on a "Hartnell Tour" of Philly. A nice little day with pops.
(annoying phone call prevents me from transcribing)
Now that you are there how do you feel
I can't wait. I've had a great season thus far. Not being picked initially was disappointing. And it's unfortunate that someone had to get hurt for me to get in.
I've worked really hard. Didn't have the start I wanted. But I've worked hard on and off the ice. I'll be smiling all weekend.
You turned around the town...
The first six games this year weren't good. Game 7 they announce the new line and they announce Giroux and there are the roos and Jagr and them me and I hear the boos. "Oh man." And the line clicked. I was down on myself and wasn't having fun but it's amazing how one game can turn it around.
Giroux is a great guy. The leader of this team now that Pronger is out. Feels more comfortable with the young guys. Just wants to score goals and win hockey games.
(annoying peer dropin prevents me from transcribing. If anyone has stuff to fill in there, please do.)
Or that's what happens when you make 5.5 mil for 9 years and were brought in to be the guy. I think that's why he gets ripped when he lets them in as opposed to BOB who is a 2nd year back up. - funmaster18
I call it the AJ Feeley effect.
Remember when people actually wanted Feeley starting over McNabb.

Oh, I just fixed that while you were posting this.
I like the guy. Keep expecting to meet him walking around the neighborhood. Still only ever saw Upshall. Figure Richie and Carts were vampires.

Feeley over McNabb, Kevin Stocker over Juan Bell, Niittymaki over Esche, Boucher over Beezer, Clarke over Farwell, Homer over Clarke, Hitch over Barber, Jeff Stone over Glenn Wilson, anyone over Steve Jeltz...
It's a weird relationship that Flyers fans seem to have with our tenders. When the #1 is going well, it's expected and not really celebrated cause they haven't won a cup.. aren't Bernie etc.. then when the falter, the backup is the second coming and the #1 can't do anything right. I don't know if it's a pile on mentality when someone's down because it's easiest to blame goaltending for all loses or if it's an expectation to fail or simply that it's easiest not to cheer for the #1 in case he doesn't do well so you are not disappointed.
Just cheer for whoever is in net for us to have success.. if he's wearing the Flying P. Simple as that. - Hextall271
Maybe I'm crazy but I feel like the media in this town isn't a huge fan of Bryz.
All praise heaped upon Bobbo whenever he does well to very well.

Maybe.. you'd think that they'd be praying for him to do well and then if he's having success, he'd be more likely to continue to be the quote machine that he was.

Blaming the goalie is a tried and true method of stirring up conversation and selling papers. Or, in the internet age, it gets clicks on a site.
Money drives the press today. Being sensationalist puts one ahead of the pack - unless the whole pack is sensationalist. Then you get the local Philly hockey media.
EDIT: Most of the pack. Bill Meltzer and Wayne Fish are not sensationalist. ASF is not sensationalist, IMO. PHT and other sites are not, either.
