Bob was great last night.
I thought Bourdon had a very strong game.
Sestito had another solid game.
I thought Shelley had a very strong game.
The Flyers deserve a ton of credit for working on the discipline aspect of their game.
Early on this team was taking as many penalties as the previous years. That has changed and it is nice to see because it give Lava the flexability to just roll lines or double shift a player or line that is feeling it.
Matt Carle continues to add dollars to the free agent paycheck.
Schenn looks more comfortable with every passing game.
Good work Fly boys!

harsh for the Sharks not to have told Nitty he was on waivers - found out via media. Good luck to him elsewhere.
only thing more popular than current backup goalie? the backup goalie from 4 years ago.

I'm still waiting to hear back from that drive by poster who said Schenn was the only guy who played worse with Giroux....after the Boston game no less. Anyone hear from him?

I am not suggesting that they move Briere or anything like it, but without him in the lineup (and without JVR and Jagr, I guess), I have enjoyed the physicality of the recent lineup.

JVR when healthy can bring that physical element. Jagr is physical in his own way in that he is able to protect the puck and make it difficult for those defending him. It is a different kind of physical, but then again being physical isn't all about throwing monster checks.
Briere will never be that kind of physical, but when he is on he does bring grit to the table, especially for a little guy.

Physical play, the battle of attrition, that is what the playoffs are all about.
I like the physical game the Flyers have played with the couple of games and it does feel like Sestito has added that to the line-up.

He replied that the only reason he didn't like Schenn was because he was wearing Leclair's number or something like that. It was one of the strangest reasons to put down a player.

I will point out the dichotomy that Briere, Jagr, and JVR all step up their games in the playoffs. - MBFlyerfan
I don't mind seeing Jagr take as much time as he needs to get his wonky groin back to full strength.
I have, without basis, decided that I want the Flyers to make a move for Anton Babchuk. Anyone with more knowledge than me agree or disagree? - wilsonecho91
based on numbers, he might help the second pp unit a bit, but would in no way help our defensive game. he doesn't play against good competition at all and is on the ice for way more shots against than for this year.
