I think that was during the time when Briere's groin kept bursting. |

Tim seems to have just realized that Sestito, Zolnierczyk and Holmstrom were sent down because the Phantoms play 4 more games than the Flyers do this week - Jsaquella

Obviously their are alot of guys who will become available but the Flyers from his knowledge/sources are the Flyers are loading up to make a run at Weber. All other options are fall back. He is the guy Homer wants to acquire but I dont see it happening. - stveshdy
I'd trust Eklund ahead of Morganti. When he worked for ESPN he was a lot more tied into the NHL's GM's and other teams. The Flyers will have interest in Weber until he's traded. |

I think the L.Schenn + for JVR is most likely because both teams are desperate, and can get equal value from the other team. Tornoto really needs a power forward and Flyers really need a defenseman... Just seems logical to scratch eachothers backs. - RooNosHockey
Yes, and JvR is out with a concussion. If Burke could use Schenn as the centerpiece to land Ryan or Nash, why bother with the concussed JvR? |

The + is what will be the dealbreaker in that trade. I dont know if Toronto is willing to overpay for JvR so that trade is going to be a tricky one to complete. - stveshdy
Maybe we can coax JVR and a 3rd for Schenn and Toronto's First... |

No offense to Eklund but hes been calling trades going down for weeks now and nothing has happened. Im sure he has very reliable sources but he doesnt hit on enough of them for me to buy into what hes selling. |

I think I'd do JvR and a 1st for Schenn, Kulemin and a 2nd. |

It wasn't meant to offend anyone but Morganti. He's more interested in judging the bra sizes of wingettes than the NHL. |

Kulemin has been a very solid two way player for the Leafs this year, despite his goal totals being down. Most people that follow the Leafs point out that he's been a key player for them. |

I know. I was actually sticking up for Morganti. I think I believe him more than some of the other people who report these ridiculous trades. Im sure Morganti isnt the greatest source but he rarely makes trades up or people the Flyers are interested in. |

I didn't bother to look it up earlier. I just assumed that the NHL and AHL would be in sync with their AS breaks. Looks like the Phantoms get their week off starting this Saturday. Strange. |

Well, he's not really reporting anything unknown. Shea Weber is the ideal guy they'd like to add. He's the closest thing to Pronger in the NHL right now. If or when he is made available, the Flyers will almost certainly be a finalist to acquire him.
I wouldn't even be amazed if part of the reason they haven't added Gleason or somebody like that is the possibility that Weber could possibly be had. |

I didn't care for Morganti on ESPN all that much. Seemed like he was pulling rumors out of his associated body parts. (new paragraph; phone cannot 'Return') M4's goalie got hurt in practice just now. The kids hummed the M*A*S*H theme. |

I guess they stagger it to make sure that places like NHL Network have games to cover. |
