I'm watching the Wings/Habs game and I can't help but compare JvR to Johan Franzen. Franzen in my mind is one of the best power forwards in the league. He's not a guy who's going to drop the gloves, so he's soft in that area, much like JvR. Franzen also does get hurt his fair share. I think JvR has what it takes to be a skilled power forward very much like Johan Franzen in Detroit and Franzen certainly have skill for a big guy. Keep in mind, Simmonds and Hartnell can get more dirty then JvR but they aren't nearly as skilled as JvR.

schenn is no savior, just a nice plyr who seems overvalued on this board. we can do better
