I really like the shows (some bits more than others), but the movies remain my favorite. Well, except that awful fifth one. And those disappointing TNG movies.

He's got good size and decent wheels, and shows flashes of offensive ability, and he's a very willing physical player. Just not sold that he'll be that top pair shut down guy.

Howard didn't look so great. The fourth goal, he got hit with a shot, big fat rebound into the slot, and he had zero idea where the puck was.

I agree, I'm not sold on it either. Although I think he's going to be a solid player as he develops. My other issue is that unless they're going to add someone else, I think they're going to lose a lot of puck movement and offense if they lose Carle, and Pronger doesn't come back.

Are you sold that JvR will be a first line talent? Will he ever be what we think? Im sure both players have flashed potential but that kind of trade is one that has to be a need for your team. I always say its easier to find a foward than it is to find good defenseman. I dont know if I would do the deal staight up but if Toronto tossed in a pick, I think I would pull the trigger on that deal.
