I'm not really sure of what to make of this trade scenario. I think the Flyers would be giving up too much, in my opinion.

Burke is on crack if he really was throwing either one of these trades around

James van Reimsdyk has 2 stinks of playoff experience, the second he was leading the way in. He's a former second pick overall behind Patrick Kane in his draft. The only reason JvR has struggled at all this season is due to chronic injuries, which I'm sure will heal.

Luke Schenn was picked 5th overall in his draft and has yet to show any flashes of being anything more then a second pair Defenseman. This guy has zero playoff experience under his belt and has never carried his team in anyway shape of form.

JvR is the better player, there should be ZERO question of this.
