I think the media eats it up when Bryzgalov struggles. They can go back to the well writing dumb goaltender controversy stories that they can cut and paste, instead of doing their actual jobs.

I don't think there are actual fans of the team that revel in Bryzgalov's struggles.

I do. I see people who have twitter handles like FlyerGirl or PhlyerPhan19 openly shred Bryzgalov for his play, personality, everything. They tweet poop like, Oh Lavi's starting Bob because he wants to win...

There's a lot of idiots that think just because the editor assigned a writer to cover the team that they're hockey experts.

I really wish the team could make him not accessible to the media. I think there is an NHL rule that mandates they can't do it. I honestly think he would play better if he didn't have to deal with them.

I complain about Bryz's performance, but I hate when he doesn't play well. It hurts the team when he does. I don't understand why any Flyers fan would want him to fail. That makes zero sense to me. If he fails, it hurts the team significantly in a variety of ways.

Since they know he speaks decent English, can he request to do interviews with a translator? Not sure, but it's a great idea. Seems like there isn't always one readily available.

Bob speaks decent English, but he speaks through a translator. He can just sit there and no say anything, too. Media is allowed access, not answers.

I would. I don't mind an incompetent media, I hate an agenda driven media. Way too much focus on banality and off-ice drama than the drama on the ice.

In my opinion a deal has to be done. Nothing is written in stone but I feel there is something most likely to be done then not.
