What are you talking about?!
Desharnais, Plekanec, Eller, Gomez, Nokelainen, Engqvist...
Actually, now that I write out the list, the depth isn't the problem, it's the fact that there's absolutely no top end talent. - kev1586

Are you laughing at me for saying that the depth isn't a problem?
Or at Montreal for having such a pathetic assembly of Centers? - kev1586
He's probably laughing because he just looked at his winky in the mirror.

Huberdeau, Beaulieu and Phillips all ended being first round picks so if you include Depres they had 4 1st round talents on that team but were only good because of Huberdeau according to you. And Jurco was 35th overall that had a shot at being a 1st rounder. - mr.peanut
Explain to me how the best player on his team is getting carried by the other players on that said team?
Man Crosby was lucky Zigmund Palffy was there in his rookie season or else he would have never hit 100 points.

I wonder if ek dabbles in mathematics on the side of hockey reporting and living in the past goaly-ing?
* How many points the team is from either making or missing the playoffs?
* How many other teams the team would have to pass or be passed to miss or make the playoffs?
* How many key injuries does the team needs to fill?
* How much Cap Space does the team has to deal with?
* How many pending UFAs does the team have to possibly deal if they are out of contention?
* How high were the team's expectations going into the season?
* How long has it been since the team has either seen the playoffs or made it into the second round?
* How patient is the fanbase?
He's worked out some pretty impressive formulae over the years on this site.

How (frank)ing stupid are you? First you compare Huberdeau to Crosby which means you are for sure an idiot. My original point was you called every other top 10 pick last year overrated except Huberdeau and I said Huberdeau was picked high based on one good year. Then you said he carried the Sea Dogs on his back which is completly wrong, Huberdeau played with 4 other 1st round talents. While Crosby only had an injured Lemieux on the Pens.
