Clearly, Crosby's superior on-ice vision and "eyes in the back of his head" can only be due to the fact that his neck is so full of nerve fibers and so well developed as to be almost supernatural. You cannot expect mere mortal, human doctors to even understand, let alone diagnose and treat such a specimen. The collective intelligence of every doctor on the planet may not be sufficient to properly treat Crosby. Knowing this, I believe Ray Shero has asked the US Military for permission to go inside Area 51 to see if some of the more advanced life forms in there can assist. They may never admit this publicly, but if you see Sid back on the ice this season, you'll know what really happened.


Oh, and he should also do some stretching. While not widely accepted, I hear from reliable sources (outside of Philadelphia) that if done in moderation it can help.

Somebody needs to tell Marek that the universe is humungous big and that we are all just a tiny part of it. Once he understands that, he'll be less stressed out about his playing time.

Now, if the price is right (like a mid round pick or a player on the Phantoms), then I'd have no issue with his place in the humungous big universe being in Philly. Anything more than that and I'll pass.
