It does get thick on twitter. I have stopped following those who are just negative without providing any reason, other than it's hip.

I like Bryzgalov, a lot. I was excited when he signed and I think he's going to be fine. Just felt he should have had the goal tonight.

Pavelec just stopped Couturier in a similar situation, didn't he? Out at the top of his crease, not cheating made the stop.

Pavelec just stopped Couturier in a similar situation, didn't he? Out at the top of his crease, not cheating made the stop.

Couturier shot it into his glove. If his shot had been a nice as Thorburn's it would have been a goal too. Not saying Pavelec didn't play it well, but the shot was nowhere near as nice as the one that beat Bryz.

I agree that I'd like to see Bryzgalov more upright, and come out and challenge more. But I'd also like to see the breakdown not happen defensively. It was a quality shot.
