You're right. My guess is that they won't because the Preds have yet to get out of the first round of the playoffs. As it stands, Weber is their offense and defense.

The Nashville Predators in my mind have taken 2 steps forward and then one step back. They do have impressive talent with the likes of Shea Weber, Ryan Suter, Ryan Ellis and Pekka Rinne. Then you have to keep in mind that they keep allowing talent to walk away from them. Scott Hartnell, Kimmo Timonen and Dan Hamhuis. They've even brought in short term talents to help out like Peter Forsberg and Paul Kariya to stay competitive but it doesn't seem to last.
