Stay out of the box lads. Don't give the phag zebras a reason.
Guess they didn't need one. Stalberg giveth and taketh away. And Crawford looking for a Clinton sausage AGAIN. PHUCKING STAND UP FFS. - philco28
The same phag zebras that call nothing all game and then give the Hawks a pp with 5 mins left? |

Hesbeen ok. The finese flip plays in his own end are maddening.
Seabrook is their best d man. Has been for awhile. - SteveRain
You nailed it...who in their right mind with the team on the rush and on the PP, repeatedly chooses to make GAY ASS drop passes inside their own half of the ice.
Keith is a very good (NOT GREAT) player, but this manouver is BULLSCHLITZ. |

Schneider has stopped at least 2 breakaways tonite - goalies stop them all the time - especially in the 3rd period of close games.
Hawks defense has been good tonite - not very many Van chances in the second and third. He's made a number of very good saves (including the one off his head just now) - it would nice if he won a game for a change. - StLBravesFan
Great save by Crawford going to his left. |

Way to go Duncan Keith. Keep waving your stick instead of keeping your body from stopping the obvious pass to from Sedin to Sedin. They never pass to each other. |

Great game . That kid Shaw looks like a keeper. Very impressed. |

And then ignore the slash on Stalberg's OT breakaway just before the Canucks game winner? |

I know he wants to get Kane out there for offensive purposes, but that was a big mistake by Q. 88 doesn't play enough defense to have him out there against the Sedins 4 on 4. Don't get me wrong, I'm not blaming Kane for that goal, per se, but it just wasn't a good idea to put him out there against Honk and Donk. |

In Bolland's face....a Sedin beats him for the o/t winner....GREAT HOCKEY GAME THOUGH...battle of the Corey's....least we got a point. Toews and Stalberg with chances to win it in o/t...NO FINISH. |

There were a lot of missed calls on both sides but that was a bad one. |

I knew there was no way they would win after coming out of the 2nd empty handed. Every time they dominate a period like that and come away with nothing to show for it they lose. Too bad Bobby Lou didn't play, they probably come out of he 2nd up 2 or 3 with Headcase in the Vancouver net. |

Hawks were awful at the dot tonight, both in the offensive and defensive zones. Seemed like the Canucks won 4 out of every 5 draws. The power play continues to be a joke, especially in clutch situations. They did absolutely nothing on their first power play and the best chance they had on the second power play was Salo almost putting it in his own net. The overtime goal made me sick. The Hawks applied no pressure whatsoever and let the Canucks easily control the puck. You knew a goal was coming. Keith cannot let that pass from Sedin get out to the front of the net. If you aren't gonna rush him, fine, but you can't let him sit back there and then make the pass to his Brother. Keith on the ice for all three goals. Glad they got the point, but missed a golden opportunity to take two. |

Nice game by the Hawks and C2....but they got smashed tonight out hit almost 2-1.
Once again the other guy won the goalie duel.
Any other point in the game the slash is called on Stahls....but not there. Typical NHL refferring there.
Canucks are masters of the in zone cross ice pass...man they set that play up well.
You had to figure Sedins would beat them!
Well gotta point....not a bad start.
Nice to see John Scott burn up the ice for about 3 shifts! What is the point...really now?? |

Not Crawford's fault on the last goal - but he didn't make the save.
A Schneider win for Vancouver.
Good game - to watch, and for Hawks. Shaw very good, got to puck all over ice, 4 hits. Hjalmarsson very good - four blocks, good stick work on defense. Toews an Sharp looked a little stick-tied - need some time back. Didn't notice Morrison much, except for the great save by the other Corey.
If the Hawks can play like this the rest of the trip - the rest of the season - they'll be OK. |

Nothing really to complain about that game. Well played, finished checks for the most part. Positioning looked pretty good from what I saw. A couple turnovers, but not anything glaring. I'd say Schneider stole this game for the 'Nucks. We flat out outplayed them from the second till about halfway through the third. That was a gorgeous pass for the game winning goal. At least we got a well deserved point out of this game. Not sure about the boarding on Kruger. Not that it wasn't boarding, it definitely was, but in the context of the way the game was being called it was a weak call.
We had some great offensive pressure and a fairly active forecheck tonight. Many times we lost the puck and the forecheck actually got it back leading to more pressure, SHOCKING!
Not every goalie is going to stand on their head like that. Keep playing that game and wins will start rolling in. Unfortunately with Q, they will probably change it up next game. He and this team tend to give up quickly when something doesn't work immediately.
Can we not get embarassed in Edmonton this time? |

OT seems to be becoming a weakness of this team lately too. How many OT games have they lost without even getting to the shootout? Seems like a lot lately. |

I agree....I can not identify a time this team got an important and clutch PP to put a game away or tie it or take the lead. I would like to now how many PP goals they have in the 3rd period. |
