One of my coworkers just got this for her boys' room (which is being redone in an all Flyers theme). Her husband thinks it's ridiculous to spend this much on a lighting fixture. I agree. And yet. It is SO COOL. - bodiva88
i disagree completely. not on this fixture in question, but the $.
they might have had one or two, but yeah that's it. and lately games they've been tied or winning after 2 seem to be slipping through their fingers. - hammarby31
Still with 64 points with all their shortcomings. The # 1 seed isn't out of the question, it's unlikely, but not impossible.
I know. Better come to play Thursday night. Preds are playing great. They erased a 3 goal third period deficit last night and got two points. As did the Pens, and the Bruins erased a two goal third period deficit.
The one thing with the Flyers this year is once they are behind in the third period the game is basically over. Top of my head I can't recall many third period comebacks this year. - PLindbergh31

Glad to hear your son is doing good, Bill. I had twin daughters spend two months in the NICU at Our Lady of Lourdes so I know what its like to fret about a child's health. Really liked reading about our boys helping out with the CHOP program too.
no doubt. they're right there. where they can make up the difference is against the rangers. they're going to need most it not all of those 6 points. - hammarby31
No question about it. Sunday is a huge game. It's 1A on my list of Sunday priorities.
Predators GM David Poile said that negotiations to ink Ryan Suter to a contract extension are ongoing. Suter recently said that he doesn't expect to re-sign before the trade deadline. Suter is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent this summer. "It’s just ongoing, it’s the same situation," Poile said. "Everything is being said the way you want a player to say it and the way you want a negotiation to go, except for the final commitment. It’s almost like we’re having a good time together, but we haven’t decided to get married yet."
