And that frickin' penalty call killed us. Not saying it shouldn't have been called based on the rules, but it's stupid and obviously inadvertent. - hscesq
I missed most of the game, but I listened to Cunneyworth's comments and he looked pissed at the refs |

I disagree with much of this post...
I think Desharnais and Eller are some of the very few things that are right with this team and they are relatively young. Agreed with the 4th line center.
The defense can not show up and it's pretty much the same except for Emelin. I think you udnerestimate the effect 2-3 of those hits a night can have.
also they need to hang their GM by the thumbs. - dt99999

he's been one of the few players who has brought me any smidgen of entertainment this season so yes, I'm gladly eating the crow. Not saying the crow isn't messed up by the plate of poop the rest of the team has been serving me but still. |

By "blowing it up" I mean find a way to get rid of the dead weight.
1 of Desharnais or Eller is expendable (given that they decide to put Leblanc on the 3rd line next season). Find a real 4th line center (ie; a real grinder who can contribute).
Gill won't be back, Campoli won't be back, send Weber to God knows where, Emelin brings very little except for a few hits here and there.
Figure out a way to dump Gionta and Gomez. - Pecafan Fan
gionta gomez cammy were clearly the dead weight that needed to go. Plek might be a very good 2-way guy but he's not a number 1 C. he's Koivu 2.0 minus the heart. If you need to include him for a big 1st liner you do it.
Bring in Gaustad for the 4th line role. Keep the young core or PK, Price, Emelin, Pacioretty, DD, Eller, Gorges and Cole and Bourque will stick around too though Bourque has been invisible as Flames fans said he would be... |

Desharnais and Eller are fine. it's not their fault no GM has been able to acquire a #1 centre since Serge Savard. |

Let's say they find a way to package Plekanec +++ for a 1st line center... You put Leblanc on the 3rd line and one of Eller or Desharnais on the 2nd... Who do you choose? |

Do you still trade Plek for a big center if there is a good chance the habs can draft Grigorenko in June? |

they've lost it, those Sens fans. wow. they are full on convinced of a conspiracy. it's kind of cute that they think the NHL would care enough about them to conspire. |

stop it. the composition of the sentence clearly indicates that Savard was the GM, not the centre. |
