So it looks like most of us want to keep most of the players (except Gomez, Gill and some other scrubs), yet, the team (frank)ing stinks.

Interesting.

They have a core they can build around. If there's more than 3 guys from this years team on D next year they're (frank)ed.

its hilarious how none of the Habs reporters are letting it be known that they are the ones who started the trash talking and Gaustad was only responding to their comment regarding Lucic. Funny how one-sided it is. By the way, i saw more footage of Montreal players crying about it than Sabre players.

I'd trade Moen, Gill, Darche and Kaberle if you can, burry Gomez if can't trade him, keep the first round draft pick and draft a solid prospect. Can't fix this team overnight...patience. The D is where they need the most help IMO, Subban, Gorges and Emelin should stick around, sign a solid D or two.

Did you know you have 9000 kills and over 20,000 deaths? that's terrible...try dying less often.

Kaberle, Gorges, Emelin, Subban.

They need a #1 and a #2.

You don't play defenceman in the NHL straight out of junior unless it's a very special player. Beaulieu is not that guy.
- habby

agreed plus it wouldn't be a bad thing to have a bunch of young guys in Hamilton next year playing together

No i said comparables, Tyler Myers and Drew Doughty didn't struggle to get ice time at the world juniors. Both are the exception. D-men don't play in the NHL without developing first.

Beaulieu in the NHL next year is a great idea.
