Anaheim or Columbus but I would not make that trade. You keep Pleks and hopefully get a player that you can build around in this draft.

So Plek and our 1st for Carter? that would be a stupid move.

No matter what you do...keep that pick. The team lacks quality depth up front...they need that pick.

If they are top 5 they might reach out to Edmonton or Columbus to flip picks and move even higher....

If you finish 5th... would you throw in a Gallagher or Kristo or Tinordi to move to 1st or 2nd overall??

If those teams decide to trade their number one centers it is for a package of good picks and prospects, they are not going to trade Getzlaf or Carter for an older 2 way center and some mediocre prospects.

Unless we give up 2 firsts and a second.

What's the point? this offseason they have to move on from him and Gomez. Gomez has to be removed and you have to assume Markov is done and try to get a top dman, IF he comes back it will be a bonus. But you can't rely on him and assume you have your #1 dman like the idiots did this year.

I kind of agree with people saying he should sit the rest of the season out...

No need to bring him in March...there is no use.

Let him continue his rehab with the team, and see you next training camp. (if there is still a team after the whole city's praxplosion)

That is an interesting situation, if you are the Habs I think you want to see what you have in Markov before you go into the offseason.

problem is, his 5.75 M$ tells the team they must rely on him, and make sure when he's healthy they have the cap room available to put him on the ice.
