cole was a good move. kaberlol was terrible. bourque doesn't do anything so that was a bad trade.

nokelinen was a decent 4th line pickup. he isn't horrible but he is far from capable of building a winner

- blarneylad

I like Cole.He always played well against Montreal, but if he is your best forward, you have problems.Bork seems to have given up already,if so,get rid of him.

Why?
- Dgrdnr

because if they trade down a couple spot, they can get the best D on the board and get a great prospect also in return for the first overall. Have a look at their D....it's horrible.

I still think Columbus will trade down to the 3rd or 5th place and pick a D.
- Symba007

They need a center.

That organization needs to give something to look forward to the fans or else they will die.

Trading that pick would be a terrible decision.

Exactly, and then Habs draft Yakupov, by far the best player available.

BTW, it's not to draft a d, it's to not draft a russian.

- fidopro

if given the choice...I usually agree but in this case the Habs need a quality center with size...I'd still pick Grigorenko

I would look at possibly trading Bourque at the deadline.

Would probably be interest in him considering how many teams want to add size up front.

We need guys with size that bring some truculence. We have enough soft (frank)s already.

By the time the Habs are competitive again, Bourque will have grandchildren. No need to keep him when you can possibly get a good asset in return.

both teams.

habs won by losing, which increases the likelihood that Gauthier isn't in buying mode for the deadline.
