(frank)ing great game last night. Nice that Optimus has won 2 in a row. They were both shutouts. The last one was only a 49 save performance! Prior to his injury he was off to a good start and I think after the last 2 games it is 100% safe too say Reimer is back. What else does a goalie need to do to be considered back??

so, the plan is to embarrass Gomez in each period? good stuff. and we wonder and whine and female dog like 15-year-old girls when no player wants to come here.

The goal should be to embarass the guy. I say taunt and mock him all they want. Piece of poop deserves it.

True enough, but I mean 7M and he hasn't scored in a year. I know he was injured but man Gomez is past being a useful NHLer

- blarneylad

fair enough. i agree, his is the worst contract in the history of the sport. maybe any sport. but i mean, he knows he sucks. there's nothing he can do. and he's not the issue with this team. none of the players are. it's not their fault that the organization overvalued many of them. all that anger and resentment should be aimed squarely at Molson and Gauthier. they're the ones who've made this mess.

mea culpa

- Sergio le Gros

"We are extremely pleased to have acquired a player of the caliber of Scott Gomez. He is an outstanding playmaker and an excellent skater. Having won the Stanley Cup twice with the New Jersey Devils, he brings to our team a lot of playoff experience. Scott is an elite player who will certainly contribute to the success of our team for years to come" said Canadiens GM Bob Gainey.

it's the idiocy of this fanbase to think that Gomez gives a poop what any of us think.

i don't pity him. i just find that for fans to draw attention to it... this organization has embarrassed itself to no end this year. and the fans seem intent on making sure that embarrassment is as bad as it can possibly be.

In no particular order, Markov, Kaberle, Gionta, Gomez.

I would expect the Habs, with all the history and the glory, to be managed as one of the best teams, like DET, BOS, CHI...

How else do we get our message to management than to show our discontent at the players on the ice?
Not like PG is going to go for a skate so we can boo him.

Short of not going to games (not going to happen in this town), how do you suggest we communicate our displeasure?

Maybe they want to do the same as with BGL? Wait for him to score to send him down.

Hope PHO pick him up so he plays in Qc next year.

If that's what they are waiting for then we are screwed for another 2 seasons.

The irony of him ending up in QC would be just about the funniest thing to ever happen in pro-sports... Ok, maybe not but it'd still be funny.
