Well I'm assuming Gauthier and the group of morons currently in charge won't be there come draft day.
- ehabs9

If it's to replace him by another boring conservative speechless (frank), why not keep him there?

Not as good as next year.

??

I haven't heard anywhere that next years draft looks to be nearly as deep as this year. Most are saying this is the best year since 2003.

Pierre McGuire needs to take over!

Edit: I doubt it though, would make too much sense. Molson can't run a beer company, how are they expected to run a hockey team...

He would then get drafted by the Habs and the Habs would find a way to screw it up... opening the door for him to say FU I'm goin'home
- WaterBoy

Makes sense, but would the Habs be able to drive a French Canadian to Russia? That's the mark of epicness.

That's what I heard. 2013 should be deeper. Don't remember where I got it, but positive.

agreed, a skilled center with size, with Eller, Cole, Pacs, Bourque....finally our top 6 wouldn't be midgets anymore

I get the feeling he's more likely to bolt than Yakupov. I haven't really seen any interviews with him though, he just looks more Russian and greedy

Barkov broke Crosby's record for youngest player to score in the WJC's and is the top player on his team in Finland on his men's team at 16. Let alone Mckinnon and a few others.

Well if it is thats great! Habs picked a good time to stink tits. This year is still supposed to be great though, and the top 10 is shaping up nicely IMO.

Barkov will look great in a Leafs jersey....Burke will trade Komi, Crabb and Conneloly for the first pick overall.

He would look so good in a habs jersey.

Now that I think of it, getting Kaberle and keeping Gomez seems like a good idea.

Trading Plek for prospects and picks too.

Nah they're trading Grabo and Komi for Carter and their first. Bad contract for bad contract and Grabo is proven!

I knew next years top picks have the potential to be greater than this years, but from what I've understood the draft doesn't run as deep, or at least doesn't look like it will at this point.

Edit: although I suppose that's a moot point given where we'll be picking

That reminds me of Gilles Tremblay which everyone wanted to get the coaching job 35 years ago.

Either guy would fit the bill for that big center you guys have wanted since 200 BC.
