my prediction:

The Canadiens trade nobody before the deadline.


in the off-season they resign Kostitsyn and Gill for two year deals.

Kostitsyn gets a 20% raise, Gill gets the same deal.

Moen is lost for nothing and Campololi is not re signed.

Pierre Gauthier remains General Manager but appoints Larry Carrière as Head coach.


The team maintains Scott Gomez on it's opening day roster and actively seeks a plan B in case Markov's prosthetic leg needs to be sent back to the manufacturer for repair.

Randy Cunneyworth coaches the Toronto Maple Leafs to the Eastern COnference FInal where they lose in 6 games to the Pittsburgh Penguins.

the Penguins go on to win the Stanley Cup.

Colorado retires Nik Lidstrom's jersey.

my prediction:

Could you imagine some clown writing a blog claiming your team is loaded with goal scorers, while neglecting the fact that it's a team filled with overpaid underachievers, and young talent that can only look to those players causing them to be the same. What a vicious circle.
