They have a very good 2nd line and 2 good 3rd lines. That's pretty much it.

well you can look at it two ways:

one way is that you don't trade away the one thing that's right with the team and that is goaltending.

the other way is that if you were able to move an elite goaltender to solve waaknesses in a couple of other areas, would you do it...

bottom line is that weirdoh smells like poop.

- dt99999

While I agree with you last sentence, I really think trading Price is a not good idea, unless it is another good goalie coming back with an elite defenceman. Build this team from the back to the front. We have some decent forwards, and nothing good on d except Gorges, we need a 30 minute guy back there.

They could have 2 good/decent line if they removed Gomez from the top 6.

But that would doom Eller to a life of mediocrity.

I'm sick of hearing about how awesome Gorges is.

seems like a great guy but the fact that he's the Habs' pillar on defense if (frank)ing pathetic.

They have some promising d prospects, but no top 6 forward in the pipe (maybe Gallagher, but still). I just wouldn't to like Columbus (...oh, right ) and give the farm for the first #1 center available.

He should be the 4th dman on a decent team. Was the case when they had a decent D (Hamrlik, feu Markov)
