Blue Jackets general manager Scott Howson explained in his team blog on Thursday morning that the incident could have an 'enormous impact' on the standings.

"It's easy to say that this doesn't matter," he wrote. "We, the Blue Jackets, are in last place and it is likely not going to affect our place in the standings. Montreal has a goalie that can stop a beach ball, that will be the difference from sinking to Columbus bad. Just remember Curtis Sanford was Montreal's 3rd string last year, he's batlling for the number 1 spot with the Jackets.

As I said yesterday in another thread, I don't think Price "stole" a lot of games this season.

He was just good enough for the habs to avoid being completely blown out when they lose.
