Yes but he, as well as Crabb, crash the net, its inevitable that the puck hits them and goes in at some points.

What are the odds that a puck hits Gomez on the side boards and then beats a goaltender?

If a player is getting paid what he is, and isn't producing and isn't injured he isn't trying nor does he care but yes he does blow.

He never, even in his best years, should have been paid this much. Everyone not named Sather knew that. Hell, even Gomez probably told himself that on his way home after signing the deal.

He does try, he just can't.

I don't know, nor do I care, if he cares.

I've already covered the blowing, hence why everyone calls him a "good teammate".

I'm surprised he was able to say 'deal' with all the laughing he was doing when Sather offered him that deal. I then how much laughing Sather did when Gainey accepted the Gomez trade.
