that is a horrible stat. Gauthier keeps talking about adding forwards to this team, but they have one of the worst d-corps in the nhl.

Habs should sign Nolan for the rest of the season. If they're going to lose might as well fulfill the life-time dreams of so many habs fans. Every hab fan cringed when the Nordiques drafted him.

I did. You're just saying the usual stuff that fans usually come trolling into the Devils blogs saying, however you were nice enough not to do that. If you realized, I ignored Parise and Brodeur comments because quite frankly, I've heard them repeatedly to the point where I stressed my opinion enough and my thoughts based on facts that I don't need to repeat myself.

That's why I disregarded the rest.

By the way, the boring thing doesn't really apply much to the Devils anymore, we don't play 1-2-2 trap anymore, much more aggressive, however, I will say all MTL-NJD games are just more boring than regular NJD games regardless of what system we play.

Also, I wasnt trolling (especially since Im in a (frank)ing habs thread) I was genuinely asking, how do you rebuild when you can't/won't trade your vets? They won't trade Brodeur/Elias because they are lifers. They can't trade Kovy. How do you spark a rebuild?

The Habs really didn't play that bad, TBH.

Brodeur played extremely well in this game, and the goals were mainly off of unlucky breaks and a couple of flaws from Price, one being Parise's goal and the second being the third goal where he was too lazy to get up and the puck was deflected over him.

Other than that, the second goal was an unlucky break and the fourth goal was another unlucky break.
