I must admit that my passion for this team is really starting to fade.

Also, I wasnt trolling (especially since Im in a (frank)ing habs thread) I was genuinely asking, how do you rebuild when you can't/won't trade your vets? They won't trade Brodeur/Elias because they are lifers. They can't trade Kovy. How do you spark a rebuild?

I don't think we are as bad as you say.

A great majority of our team is under 30. On defense, we have stockpiled prospects. On offense, everyone but Zubrus, Sykora, and Elias are under 30, so we have no problem there in the long run. Prospect wise, we are not deep at all in the forward position, but at the same time, the age of our offense makes up for that. There is suffiecent stop gaps in the UFA market, Harding, Gustavsson, Vokoun, Nabokov, Nittymaki, Emery, that we can get by before Wedgewood or Kinkaid/Clermont is ready to take the reins.

I don't think this team needs a rebuild due to the age of the players.

EDIT: And I said this is stuff that the fans usually come into the Devils blogs trolling about, no where did I mention you were trolling.
