martin and michalek together is NOT a shutdown line. they need to use their bodies and stop letting guys skate by them
- drummer829

Ive been impressed with Lovejoy so far. He is skating really well. Also, a bit surprised at the D working the puck into the slot to the open guy. First we have seen of that in a long time.

Letang is freaking pissed. Toronto is lucky the period ended and if they are lucky Letang will calm down in the intermission, because if he doesn't watch out, he is going to be laying the lumber the rest of the game. The high stick, then Lupul just running him. Someone needs to step up because Toronto is certainly taking some liberties with Letang and Geno.

Ironic how Steigy and Errey mentioned oh I don't maybe a dozen times about how Toronto has been doing such a great job not taking stick penalties and then the pretty obvious high stick gets missed by the refs.

If he doesn't he's got to at least be top 3

That was a good call though.

Most of them have been the right call, but it's funny that it has been him on so many of them.

He's probably got a bonus in his contract for most disallowed goals.

It has gotten to be kind of funny.

This is maybe a dumb question, but has the NHL gone back to white unis at home and darks on the road again? Second night in a row...if so, I like!

No. This is just something the Pens/Leafs did coming out of the break.

I wish they would change it back. It sucks going to games and seeing the same colors every night.

It's a very sterile presentation of the game from the stands.

Makes you wonder if he benefited from the all star break. With his age and size, he's the kind of guy the Pens would be smart to give the odd game off here and there to keep him fresh for the post season.
