No, the idea of getting rid of a locker room cancer isn't to bring a different one in.

Ennis didnt destroy anyone but its nice to see him and his energy back.Leino had his best game of the year and finally gave me some hope.One of Millers best games of the season as well.Great game now beat the Rangers and give me hope.

And why did we need another blog for this?

Yes, but i think we would rather have Leino and roy or stafford going for him.

Carter may make over 5 mil but he is a top line center and has scored 40 goals before. I think 5 mil could be a bargin compared to other guys that are #1 centers

I've always been of the opinion that if you go up the ranks playing center, but are put on the wing in the NHL, it's because they don't think you can play the position, which is very different than in the lower levels. However, perhaps they've made a mistake in that regard with Ennis. The guy is fast, shifty, and has good puck skills. Perhaps the extra room that the center position affords is good for him. Granted, it is a very, very small sample size. We'll see if it lasts.

He hid in Philly behind a ton of talent, gets traded to Columbus to be thier #1 center, and fails to shine on a team where he can be one of the faces of the franchise. No thanks.

Get me a #1 playmaking center, not another hybid winger/center.

Definitely not. I am absolutely terrified of Darcy screwing up this team for years to come, now that he has "financial freedom." That would be the first step.

Before thats just it not doing it now nor been the player he was seasons ago in Philly.He wasnt playing real well the last season there either.

He wasn't one in Philly and he has shown he isn't capable of being one in Columbus. He's better suited for winger than center.

Can't disagree, not sure what #1 playmaker is available but it does seem Carter was riding the coattails of his mates.
