This is the constant truth.

I've always been of the opinion that if you go up the ranks playing center, but are put on the wing in the NHL, it's because they don't think you can play the position, which is very different than in the lower levels. However, perhaps they've made a mistake in that regard with Ennis. The guy is fast, shifty, and has good puck skills. Perhaps the extra room that the center position affords is good for him. Granted, it is a very, very small sample size. We'll see if it lasts.

great idea.. lets take a player with about 8 games played in the nhl at wing who is still learning the speed and skill of the nhl level and make him play a position he probably played when he was in midgets.. that shoudl surely not ruin his progress..

i heard Grags played forward in rochester many moons ago.. lets give him a shot at the pivot position.. throw him in there between pommer and staff and see how it works
