i agree.. but if there is a trade to be had you have to consider it, i think too many people over value miller. you woudl need some value back though in the way of goaltending.. - SabresFaninIndiana

I never even smelled hockey ice til I was about 20... I played college football (DL) so i never did much of recreational sports outside of racquetball haha. - MillerTime1130
I know you sad you're working right now, but you really owe it to yourself to watch the highlights of Sabres-Sens game 1 of the semifinals in 05-06. That team was, to borrow from the Eklund dictionary, magical.

All stats aside you dont trade your starting goalie and hope a guy like enroth is up to the challenge right away. Thats bad hockey management. - HotSauceBlueChs
Starting goalies like Captains get traded all the time actually.
6.25 mil for a goalie in the cap era is just as bad if not worse hockey management.
You spend 10% of your cap on a player, that player better be the best at his position. Something Miller isn't IMO.

Not bad. Just remember Ruutu is a UFA. - Gunner Staal
I just have a real hard time wanting to see "Ruutu" on the back of a Sabres sweater... his brother jarkko is a real jackwagon.. and Sabres have hated him for as long as I can remember...
remember jarko messing with and laying down on miller during the olympics?

thats easy to say now.. but his Vezina year I know you didn't say that..
I really do believe that he has been shaking cobwebs out of his head since the Lucic/Tootoo hits.. and is now starting to play better.. 2 GAs in the last 2 games.?

Admitting that you have a problem is the first step.
I don't know if I'm the first, and hopefully I'm not the last, but congratulations on starting the long road to recovery.

I think the problem is remembering games from almost 30yr ago. I remember Gretzky losing the right glove and Kevin Lowe coming off the ice throwing his glove to him and Gretzky scoring a goal.

His Vezina year he played well up untill the Olympics were over with. I said it then and I say it now. He played well because he wanted the #1 spot for team USA.

go back to when he was a pending ufa...miller stole games or kept the team in games, and was considered a top-five goalie in the league, right behind lundqvist...

i'd hazard to guess, although i'll never have the statistical backing, that miller has faced more odd-man rushes than any goalie in the league post lockout...
the ferrari team of '06/'07 rarely played d...
the defense has been puck-mover heavy for years and the post-driere offense couldn't back-check if the playoffs were on the line.

Tuomo is a good player. I dont think Buffalo is in the market to trade for impending UFA's as they realistically arent making any kind of playoff push.
