Point is people like to say captain of teams and starting goalies don't get traded.
Fact is they get moved all the time.

I did a list of Captains a year or two ago on here and it worked out to Captains of team get traded about 3 times a year.

hasek was traded because buffalo was rebuilding and they asked him if he wanted to be traded to a contending team and he said yes..
