I know . I bet if you ask 100 Canuck fans 80 of them would not trade Hodgson straight up for Tavares.He has good numbers yes but he plays on a lousy team on the top line with a boatload of minutes.CH plays third line minutes with about 7 min a game TOI .

Still, Tavares is an incredible player, he gets top coverage from the other team also....unlike Hodgson.

Obviously you don't stay awake at night to watch Western games.NYI don't have elite players to be offered up an elite return.Don't embarrass yourself by saying JT is elite.I will throw back the name Hodgson whom is just as good .You forget we threw you a Raymond clone named Grabner who just happens to be one of your best players.Just because Ballard who is a very good D man and Raymond does not mean they wouldn't excel on a team like the Islanders. Grabner and Raymond had some very good chemistry two years ago.

Travares would be a 3 rd line center on the Canucks playing 11 min a night like Hodgson is.

Dude you can not be serious...you don't think JT is elite...REALLY..he is just getting started....Every year he gets better... player of the month, longest point streak this year at 12 games, tied for 4th in league scoring....do you have a sweet clue about hockey...let me guess you are one of those that felt he shouldn't have gone 1st overall...stop embarassing yourself.
