Bull-poopy. Cuncussions are caused by the brain bouncing around inside the skull. Unless Bauer found a way to put foam around Giroux Brain, extra padding will not prevent the whiplash action that causes Concussions...
But it wont hurt to try. - RooNosHockey
Maybe if the filled a 10 gallon cowboy hat with foam, and pulled it down really tight... |

Was anyone aggrivated at how often JJ and Clement were mentioning Hartnell down after the ASG? I mean, now that they are throwing it around everywhere it's just not as fun or funny... |

I think it's pretty cool he donates money every time he falls. I didn't realize that was what the #hartnelldown movement was about. |

Hartnell took it, and turned it into charity, which is why they mention it. He sells shirts and toques on his site www.hartnelldown.com
The guy who started the #Hartnelldown on twitter is getting interviewed tonight before the game. |

Was just given a tip that the Rangers sending Wolski down is likely tied to something else. Confirmed with a second source.
I hope they do something stupid that completely destroys their team chemistry, though the 'something else' is probably just them calling up his replacement |

Wade Redden then goes onto win the Norris Trophy by finishing the season with 68 points (22 goals) while also not being on the ice for a single goal against.

They should be looking for defensemen. Dan Girardi's playing 27+ a night. |

As much as he sounds like a doofus at times, I believe he's as genuine as they come. He puts the color in color commentary. - funmaster18
He doesn't bother me so much anymore. It's more JJ (not rehashing my comments from the other night) and Keith "___ job" Jones. Clement is the best. |

I'm not sure we disagree either. I think we just look at it differently. I honestly don't read entire articles anymore. I scan for quotes and stats and whatever REAL info I can find. I do that with twitter and blogs and news reports than I sort through it. I try to ignore the rest as the pap it is. - mayorofangrytown
That's the whole point. We don't need beat writers to supply us with facts that are a 3 second google search away from getting ourselves. Or a quick hop on over to NHL.com. If your labeled as an "NHL Insider" then give us some inside knowledge. Tell me something I don't know. Falls woefully short of the mark. Most of the nonsense that quickly becomes reality among the fan base, comes from the biased spin of the reporters covering the team. |

They're gonna call THAT icing?!?!?!?!?!?
Yeah, they typically do when you shoot the puck from one end to the other. |

I'm hot and cold with Morganti. I find myself either agreeing or disagreeing with him completely on things. He's a lifer, that's for sure. - funmaster18
Morganti is a very bright Hockey mind. He's just lazy for the most part. He can fake his way through a post game or pre game and come off credible.

Same phrase he uses in disbelief of a penalty call. It does get old.

He spends more time nowadays naming wingettes than following pucks. When he was with ESPN and really following the NHL, he did a very solid job. |
