Coach them to play HOCKEY, not no check hockey. That would go a long way.

B. not enough defensemen again - rolled four for almost the first two periods...fatigues the guys you play and then they take dumb penalties and make mistakes with the puck.
C. poor roster choices - Bickell, Brian. Why is he even dressed?
D. and the root cause - woosy hockey

We are not going to see Kubina, Sutton, Gill, Allen, or anyone who has any stones. We are going to get another stick checker to either miss pucks or swat them in front of open and uncovered nets.

Nope Im done making excuses for crawford its a perfect storm and the team sucks also but it was 3-3 going into the third before crawford gave up TWO really bad goals that broke his teams back. Hes not getting it done.

This is the defining moment of season.....either they rally and start playing like the time they think they are....or they are heading for monumental collapse of a season....

Maybe Crawford starts tomorrow to get his confidence back. Maybe we move Bickell and Frolik up to play with Toews. Maybe we start Scott and Lepisto on D and play them for the entire game. Maybe we try to get that back door play on the power play working again. I'm sure Q has it all under control.

Isnt it his call who plays or is there something coming done from above telling him who to put in. NO MORE BICKELL NO MORE SCOTT they are both fcing waste products.

He keeps starting an obviously broken Crawford, and then fails to pull him before the game gets out of hand when he blows.

He keeps sending Keith out on the PP when that is the one thing that he's no good at...couldn't hit water if he fell out of an F'ing boat.

Exactley now we are getting mad because they are putting out a line we cant cover for poop. Sad Sad day to be a hawk fan Maybe Keith, Seabrook and Co should just prevent them from scoring besides the other teams coach simply not playing them for some bull poop unwritten rule. Pissed at them all right now.

I've been on midnights for 6 months and this week I was so excited to have Tuesday , Wednesday Thursday Friday and Saturday night off so I could watch the hawks in peace without worrying about having to go to work , what a disaster its been so far tonight and Vs. Vancouver. Terrible. We get pushed around every single game. The Oilers had no fear of running up the score , anyone that goes 1 on 1 with any of the Hawks D has NO FEAR of getting knocked on their a s s . This is like watching a squirt team play. Awful

Haviland. When he coached last year, the team was focused and put together. Juggling isn't always a good thing. He can juggle his way out of chicago right now for all I care. Look at the Penguins, do you see them giving up when people get hurt or when they have a tough time? No because they have a coach with a system, who makes his team buck up, focus, and take responsibility for everything. We aren't blaming the coach without reason. We have player decision issues as well and SB needs to be help accountable for that. But the on ice problems are focus, intensity, stupid bench penalties, anything resembling a defensive system, and piss poor special teams. This despite the fact that playing in the game are some of the top players in the entire league.

Sorry about that rant, it's not necessarily directed at you, but trying to point out that there are serious merits to the theory that a coaching change is necessary.

Where was the shut it down, road style hockey teams are suppose to play after they take a 2-0 lead? Instead they get sucked into a track meet.

As least the Hawks got some measure of payback. Last time they gave up nine goals and this time they held them to 8. Seriously, how do you let yourself get embarrassed twice like that. This team just sickens me with their lack of heart. Edmonton kept putting Gagner and Eberle and all their top guns out their and the Hawks just took it up the a$$. Not one guy put a hit on anyone or engaged anyone in any way. This team is a total mess right now. By the time this trip is over I'm confident they will be on the outside looking in at the playoffs.

Dubnyk sucked on the Hawks first goal. Crawford was the difference in the game tonight. And those squirrels have been around since the first week of October!

Just because I think he's the most tradeable big name player on the team, and a bit overrated doesn't mean I dispise him. I've said many times, if there was no cap, he could play on my team any day.
