No schit Sherlock, but Dubnyk was the difference..he made more saves than our 2 goalies combined...in fact 10 more.

I can't believe how poorly these off season signings have been. Mayers and Emery are the only keeps. Throw the rest out.

Not dismissing the lack of goal tending in this game, but where is Q after the team takes a 2-0 lead? The team needed to sell out on defense and play a simple game. Instead we got into a track meet. That, and he called his timeout 1 goal too late.

crawford should have been pulled after the first weak goal or at the very least after the second goal and that is all on q

Just like the Bears, they do not play a style that matches the City of Chicago...no toughness or step on your throat intensity...

I posted a trade to start last nights thread that ibcluded getting.him and sutton. I get the hawks have bigger needs like a physical forward tjat can kill penalties but gagner is.someone u find room for. He also plays with n edge nd plays bigger than his stature.

I'm with you 100%. Everyone ripped huet when he imploded. Guess what? This is worse Maybe why talon burried his ass in Rockford for years.

Goaltending is a LEGIT concern right behind d. Face it. This team is going no where because bumhole bowman is to proud to admit his mistakes.

TG, I didn't think he was whining about the Oilers pouring it on, I thought he was complaining about the Hawks not doing anything about it. He was just saying if the Oilers where gonna keep putting their main guys out there, then the Hawks needed to do something about it. They didn't.

Listening to Q. "We did some good things until they scored their first goal." Oddly enough, he doesn't look or even sound upset about this game. Seems very matter of fact, which is alarming to me. If you're coach isn't upset about that performance . . .

Crawford was HORRIAWFUL...agreed...but you can't say we would have won but for Crow...it was 3-all...we never led after blowing the 2-0 lead.

I really thought Dubnyk was OUTSTANDING tonight...not spectacular or flashy, but he quietly stymied us all night long, but because of Gagner's 8 point night, no one will remember how good Doobie was.
