Toms River/Manahawkin/Long Beach Island area. - PLindbergh31
They consider that South Jersey up near you?
Interesting.

that poop is years away, but it would be awesome to have that kind of control. i'm going to have to build a "war room" with 97 monitors. - hammarby31
Padded with straitjackets? Or will you have a lifesize replica of Tim Panaccio made like Buster of "Mythbusters" that you can slash with a spare goalie stick?

Ok So I found Bryz's career stats east vs west...
East: 75 GP, 36 W, 26 L, 8 Otl, .904 SV%, 2.74 GAA, 3 SO
West: 286 GP, 139 W, 100 L, 32 Otl, .916 SV%, 2.52 GAA, 21 SO
And remember the west numbers inculed a few years where Phoenix was just aweful, and had to play in a tough division.
So I do think that some of what Bryz is going through is adjusting to the East Coast style of play, and thier new shooters, and the oppenents coaching strategies. - RooNosHockey
Sorry for the delay in responding...boss actually expects me to work
But this is good stuff. I think it also becomes a chicken and egg thing...if you have success you get confidence, and if you have confidence you have success.

That's as far South I will go. And Commute wise it will be a bear as it is. |

I'm not even a huge fan of Jackson and Jones. I like the CSN telecasts much more when Clement does the games. I'm looking at houses in the South Jersey area and will probably be buying something soon, so I will be able to get CSN. - PLindbergh31
i'm over them...well, jackson and coates, anyway.
once you cross the ocean county line (from monmouth) it gets all weird. good luck. |

my wife wants me to have a soundproofed room with padded walls so i can scream and hurl whatever i want, including myself, so she doesn't have to see it or hear it. i want that too. oh how i want that.
i will never have a picture of tim in my house. |

Whatever happened to the promise of technology where we direct our own games. Can have sound of game without announcers. Can have PBP without color or color without PBP. Wouldn't that rock? I could watch figure skating without Scott Hamilton skategasms being blasted after every marginally successful jump. - bodiva88
For a change of pace I'll sometimes listen to online games with Russian announcers. |

Er... That's not really "South." That's Central.
Toms River is nice. My aunt & uncle used to live there. My former pastor is from Manahawkin. That's nice, too. LBI? You'll feel right at home for 3+ months out of the year with the NY area tourists. - Flyskippy
Well considering the GSP Northern most Exit is 172, and LBI/Manahawkin is Exit 63, I would consider it South Jersey. |

I think that's her subtle way of letting you know your fandom verges on insanity
On the bright side, I hear that room comes with a really snazzy jacket. |

I'm not even in Monmouth. I'm in Union now.
I want Jackson gone, and a Thorne/Clement broadcast team calling all the games. |

Not going to argue, but you're not going to hear folks there calling it that. Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Atlantic, Ocean, Cape May, Salem, and Cumberland counties comprise "South Jersey." Funny thing is, folks "up there" (I went to Seton Hall) consider anything south of Metuchen as South Jersey. Folks from "down here" consider anything north of Trenton as North Jersey. |

my grandmother used to live in union. haven't been there in ages. i grew up in monmouth county, near asbury park...so that's my baseline.
i would like a thorne/clement team i think. i used to hate gary, but i've come to like his work now. |

Gotta say, you were my second-favorite goalie to play in front of.
Would have loved to have gone to war with you in a real rivalry game in HNA. |
