The Refs have been horrid and at fault for allowing this game to get out of control early. At one point I was wondering if they were looking to set a record for penalties called in one period. Of course that was before Giroux got tripped, they didn't call it and it led to a shorthanded goal.

On the flip side of the coin, Jagr has looked old for quite some time now. It really looks like he's never going to score another goal again.

so instead of a 1-1 game. it turns into 3-0 in about a minute with the last one going in with less than half a second left off a bad rebound. lovely. just lovely.

yep, Devils completely out hustled the Flyers in the first. The missed call sucks, but there's no reason to give up ANOTHER goal in the last second.

bob should of made that save, but you knew as soon as they went 2 on 1 they were gonna score.

to me the player also has responsibilty to not have his back to the play there. you learn from a young age you dont just stand 3 ft from the boards staring at the glass playing tittly winks with yourself. NHL has to start holding the players responsible for putting themselves in bad positions along the boards when its clearly not needed

A player has the right to use his body to shield the puck. Jagr does it all the time. Parise accented it, but I can see why it was called.

Simmonds was not happy. No clue what Harts was doing trying to fight that devil instead of covering Zubrus. I would love for Volchenkov to get open ice hit with a Rinaldo special.

Down to 5 dmen, and 11 forwards. I don't think Lilja played another shift after getting injured. Which may not be a bad thing.

No where close to being as bad as the team in the It's the great pumpkin charlie brown jerseys.

Would not be surprised if Hedberg had 8 points by the end of the game.

none of the penalties were from not skating and being lazy. the slash doesnt get called if the stick doesnt break and he was in good D position, boarding from being too aggressive, dumb mistake, and hooking was pretty weak if you ask me
