Bob hasn't played a great game, but he's been far from terrible. The team on the other hand... - BoomGoesTheCoburn
the 1st goal was a case of him being lazy, he saw where that pass was going and didn't react until the puck was in the net. the 3rd goal he gave up a bad rebound and once again didn't react to the play. both goals IMO are inexcusible. i'll give him a pass on the kovalchuk 2-1 goal, although the shot didn't look to be spectacular, but kovalchik on a 2-1 is deadly |

Apparently Jagr is injured. So it's down to 10 forwards. - PLindbergh31
Enough is a enough of this. I'm sorry but we have no commitment to Jagr after this season. It sucks he has a bad groin but he's making 3 million plus. We can put that elsewhere. It was a good try by homer picking him up but unless he's making 2 million at the most next season, we may have to say no. |

I suppose utilizing challenges like the NFL does will be looked at hard this CBA. |

His hand is hurt, dude, unless it is now attached to his groin. I think we've debated that one before. |

Meh. I'm not going to blame the referees in a period where the Flyers didn't compete. The score is exactly what it should be. - PLindbergh31
If they play well, the refs sucking never really matters. |

The Flyers deserve to be down by 2 or 3, they stunk it out that period.
Bab had to stand on his head to keep it close early. |

i was serious... i mustve missed jagr leaving - Crimsoninja
I did miss it but I'm also watching without sound and on a fuzzy feed. |

Give up two goals in the final minute, and start the second period shorthanded. Pathetic. |

Really? He was lazy on the first goal? Come on now. |

Hopefully the Flyers don't spend the rest of the game whining about the refs like people here are, and get back to playing some solid hockey over the next 40 minutes.
This game is far from over, you debbie downers.
edit: never mind.

You probably have to think about putting Bryz in now. |

A challenge wouldn't have made any difference in that period... |

Parise should have been squashed there. Even if he scores you have to body him. Ridiculous and soft. |

Sure you could challenge that the Kovalchuk goal came from a missed penalty. |

I don't want to get into a Bob vs. Bryz thing, because that isn't the point of this post. The point is, I think we've forgotten that some of the goals allowed earlier in the season by Bryz, which hurt his season averages, looked somewhat like that. Just awful team D. Non-competitive. |

OWNED. Getting embarrassed. This team is laughably bad at home. |
