Blah, blah, blah...relax kid.
A good game tonight for all involved including Reimer. However, it's still win and you're in.
The only reason the Leafs have a playoff spot is because of the Gus.

There really should be no doubt who the better goalie is at this point. With Reimer overcoming his injury, he's got the net again.

You play the goalie who gives you the best chance to win, and Reimer is now the leader in every statistical category except wins due to fewer games played.

I'm glad that Gus improved his game to the level of "good back-up", but this team is crying out for a starter.

Like I said, Gus played behind a vastly more disciplined team that played much better on the PK in January. Put Reimer in the same situation and it's not even close.

Agreed. I don't hate the guy, but he really doesn't factor into our long term plans.

I don't think he'll ever be the starter here, and he really doesn't have the temperment of a back-up.

Again, I like that he's improved his game to the level where he helps us rather than hurts us, but I think the love he gets is due more to "leaf fan attachment syndrome"

Should be VERY interesting when the Leafs play the Oilers on Monday, the current hottest goalie Reimer will be facing the current hottest forward Sam Gagner.

Points on 11 straight goals. That's got to be a record.

EDIT: Scott Oake said that just as I posted this.

If he did this for an entire season, he'd be on pace for 697 points.
