anybody else think there's any validity to the kuli/mac for dustin brown possibilities....that's a trade I think gets you not only into the playoffs but maybe even make some noise when they get there( assuming Brown brings his heavy ass kicking game with him)....

I'd jump the (frank) all over that trade or some reasonable version of it

Brown hasn't been the same since the crack-down on headshots...almost like he's afraid of hitting now, which is a big part of his game. Just doesn't seem like the same player...and I don't know that getting a 4 time 20 goal scorer in 9 years will be better than what Kulemin and Mac bring.

i think kulie and brown are a lot alike ( brown is quite a bit tougher) if kulie was playing the way he was last year i wouldn't trade him for brown

Brown brings leadership qualities, he would be a solid addition! He is a very good forecheker(much like Kuli), but he plays close to 20 minutes per game. Kulimen on the season is averaging 15 minutes. I wouldn't mind that trade, he is a power forward, and he is tough! Exactly what they need, that and a number 1 center.

also if the mike rich for kulie and kadri was turned down from burke i don't think he would do something similar to get brown

I would absolutely do a trade for Dustin Brown...but why would LA? They are in a playoff spot as it is so it's not like they are either a) selling off parts and rebuilding or b) making sweeping changes in order to make a playoff push.
