This game hasnt gone their way through the first period and yet their one goal away from tying the game.

I wish I could have caught the post game reactions from yesterday's game. You can't blame the refs every game and the players have to take responsibility for their own play but I also think the Refs need to take responsibility for missed calls and bad ones. A penalty shouldn't be of their choosing, a penalty should be called when a rule is broken within the game. I know they aren't going to catch everything but when you hear the words "They're letting them go", I'm all for that when the game is close and both teams are working hard. You can't allow things to go one way. This is the second game in 2 days where a call was obvious but the refs didn't happen to see it.

If they call the weak hold a penalty on Read, they need to call it both ways.

The Schenn no call was interference, pretty clear cut.

I guess Giroux isn't a star yet, that play yesterday and then the trip on the breakaway are always called when you're a star.

Completely agree. Just pointing out that it may have been a factor in his not getting the call. Of course, it could just be the plain and simple fact that the refs are doing a terrible job in this game.

Hartnell seems utterly invisible. This should be his kind of game.

Flyers need to keep their heads here.

I agree, the interference on Schenn should have been called. You can't move laterally to impede a player's progress.
