is it 0-4 this season? And this on the same day the Giants will win their 2nd Superbowl in 4 years. - GoFlyersGoSlovakia

I don't want to hear about his fuc&ing confidence anymore
we should have at least got to overtime today
after the Gaborik goal I saw his shoulders slump, Fuc& that
Morganti, Coates & Clement commented on his bad goals, I'm sure some on these boards will say they don't know shi& - puckhead17
I agree, Bryz needs to get the (frank) on it |

this loss cannot be pinned on bryz, our d is horrendous...mab needs to sit, coburn needs to grow some balls for his size, carle needs an alarm clock, meszarros should also sit - mydoglicks
I disagree, regardless of the poor D, the 2nd and 3rd were all on him. This is one of the few times I think he was the main reason for not wining. Those goals were deflating aside from the fact he was great up until 6 seconds left in the second period

if mab shoots the puck instead of brain farting maybe we go up 3-2 and a odd man rush does not happen - mydoglicks
I know but still Bryz is paid to be a Lundy and stop that. If he wanted to be paid like a top goalie he needs to get off his ass and play like one. |

aren't you tired of saying that and hearing that? sure, he's been pretty good the last few games, and then he turns in a (frank)ing poopbomb in a game they needed against an opponent who's beaten them 3 straight times this year. |

horrible turnover by carle but that's a stoppable shot from distance with no screen. he has to make that save. - hammarby31
I look at it the other way, any player within 6 feet of the net (him and the goalie) should bury that shot 70% of the time. |

This is the time of the season where team play really gets dialed in and the cream rises to the top.
I just don't think the Flyers are part of the cream this year. Even the last 2 years, this is the time of the season where the team has run into trouble. I'm still not sure where that cup run came from. I guess anything can happen if the add a D man and get totally healthy, but just looking at everything as a whole... it just isn't good enough IMO. |

All we can do is look forward for something to be changed at this point. Maybe one of Briere or JvR can play Tuesday (Doubt it). Maybe the lines or the Power play gets switched up (Doubt it). Maybe a trade goes down (Doubt it). The schedule doesn't look all that rough this week but it's still a pretty crappy feeling right now due to the lack of points this weekend. |

1969: The old man says "never again"... 3 years later we have the Broad Street Bullies.
2011: The old man says "never again"... 3 months later we have Bryz.
So far the old man is batting .500. |

He was on it, for 5 games
no offense, I'm completely done with this guy.
Morganti is ripping him right now, and come on Carle turning it over is out of desperation because they are down when they shouldn't be

I know they need a defenseman but I hope this weekend doesn't put Homer into panic mode and get back poor value on a trade for some aging UFA to be. |

Nothing on this team this year has been consistent. Bryz certainly wasn't the issue yesterday, and yet they still lost. |

htey were only down by 1. no need for desperation in that situation. it was just a stupid, bad pass. and then mab stands there like a (frank)ing pylon. |

They arent a contending team. But is that news? The playoffs are a long way away. A couple of lapses in concentration by Bryzgalov. But there is still time. He regressed today, but has been showing progress. Carle makes a bad turnover. But how long has it been since he's made a gaffe like that? Bad choice to try and make that pass, on the backhand no less.

8-9 rookies being counted on in big roles, it is a rebuilding year, and they are lucky to be where they are.
G and Hartnell are having career years, and the last few games have taken a step back.
Who is going to carry them when G has off games?
They need Jvr to step up especially when G is not performing, and he has been hurt.
Simmonds though has continued to amaze me.
He showed some sweet soft hands on his goal today. |

They need to be more physical, some times they are other times they are on there heels.
Once they started getting physical on the fore check, they had some openings
How about The great Jagr reaching for pucks again
floating a little & trying to recreate 1993 going 1 on 3
I would like a fuc&ing goalie, and a right winger with size & yeah another puck mover on the back would help as well. |
