What did you guys think of the half time preference? I didn't think it was bad a at all but then again, Madonna or any other chick singer wouldn't be my first choice for a half time show at the Super Bowl. I think I'd want something more hard to pump up the crowd. Either way, I didn't think she was bad but of course chicks from my facebook list are knocking Madonna saying she was brutal.

I dont see it that way. But then again I may be the only person who thinks this defensive group is vastly overrated. Their decision making is terrible and im tired of seeing the same mistakes over and over. I been saying this for over a year that this group just isnt good enough. I dont want to hear about how they made it to the cup bc alot went right for them plus they had a healthy Pronger.

Time to make moves if these guys cant get the job done.

I keep hearing who is going to replace so and so if we trade him. Who out there is better. Well im sure their are guys out there that can replace guys we have. Not like we have Norris Trophy Winners on defense. You have to find players who fit what you want to do. Anyone can be replaced as long as you determine what your looking for.

It was better than last year...of course, a Jerry's kid playing Beatles songs on a Kazoo would have been better than last year.

I agree. I wanna see a guy like Boychuk and another really physical dman inserted into the line up. There were too many times where the Flyers didnt take the body and went poke checking instead.

They're always going to be paying top dollar for defenseman as long as they fail to develop NHL caliber ones.

It does, but based on their abilities, the Flyers defense corps should be better.

The thing is, it's not just the defensemen, it's the forwards as well that cause a lot of the issues.

They're always going to be paying top dollar for defenseman as long as they fail to develop NHL caliber ones.

This year you may have to trade one player and sign another. Its obvious to me that what we have isnt good enough. We can compete bc we have some talented players offensively but on defense they have been a mess all year (forwards included).
