I agree. I wanna see a guy like Boychuk and another really physical dman inserted into the line up. There were too many times where the Flyers didnt take the body and went poke checking instead.

Their too inconsistent as a group period. The only player I trust out on the ice on defense is Timmonen. Whenever anyone else is out on the ice you never know what your going to get that night. Carle plays good one game and then turns the puck over like a machine the next, Coburn plays physical and then couldnt knock over a 2 yr old and grabs people, Messy just plays up and down every other night. MAB and Gus are rookies so mistakes will happen. Lilja is what he is and should only play limited games. Pronger may never play again. It looks good for a few games and then turns into a mess again, just tired of it.

I think Carle is a good defenseman but hes not a guy who makes his partner better and I dont know if I would be willing to give him $5M per year (which he probably will get in free agency).
