Believe me.

Im no huge fan. I think he's soft as (frank). You do however need guys that can move the puck. Carle can do so and with the right stay at home guy he is a good d-man. Not 5 million, but what can you do. The market is what it is.

I think hes valuable to the team, but I am far from a huge fan of the guy. Not a guy Id have out with a minute left, up by a goal, in the 3rd by any means.

He's stepped up this season for the most part.

He's been doing that consistently all year. He made a bad decision in the game today that led to the Dubinsky goal. It happens to every defenseman occasionally. He's been rock solid and very consistent all year. He makes one mistake in a game, and the Carle haters come out like they've been waiting for it. It's sickening sometimes how he doesn't get the credit he deserves for the player he is. I wonder if some really watch the game.
