not really...JVR is best plyr in the deal and where would Kadri play if his best position is center? L Schenn is way overrated on this board. he will likely be a nice 2nd pairing compliment on d, while Kadri would likely be an asset that will be sold low...for what? no, get a better return for JVR.

Coach Reid will have the boys ready to go next year. They are by far the best team in the division. They got hot at then end of the year when they finally picked up Juans defense. They could easily be the team standing up their tonight holding the trophy. Just finished one game short of the playoffs.

He's a rookie, and a guy who has made huge strides this year to go from a question mark, to being a guy that could be a decent defenseman in the NHL. He's played well and filled in due to injuries and helped the Flyers deal with those injuries. Maybe give him more then just half of a season to mature.

Which makes me only assume that he could take JvR's place on wing after the trade. Collecting points won't be Kadri's issue, being responsible in his own end will be the issue but here in Philly, he'll be allowed to be himself.

He was a center in junior but at the NHL level, many believe he won't cut it at center because he's a defensive liability. Kadri lacks size, that's why I'm not really interested in him. We need some size on the Wing. And at Center for that matter.
