Yea that guy was dumbass. Now I'm kidding.
But seriously Parcells would have never done something so asinine as let the other team score. Neither would Bellicheck but considering his pennance to getting caught cheating is throwing superbowls for the giants it all evens out i guess. - JoeRussomanno

Ugh rough weekend for the Flyers. Family stuff for me all weekend so didn't get to watch either Flyers game...seems like a good thing. Least I know it ain't me jinxing them
So what is new? Any word on Briere coming back soon? I saw the other day that he said was was getting close, but have seen nothing since.
I wish van Cartsdyk would get healthy soon so they can package him in a trade for Weber - Lexington Flyer
Heard Briere was watching Michael Phelps win the gold to get his competitve spirt back. He has the Hyperbolic chamber as well and that he feels like a super sayian +5, not the level +10 he wantds to be. almost there tho, was very encouraging to read |

The distance isn't irrelevant. If the Giants were going to have to kick a 47 yarder to win the game, I don't think NE would have let them score there. So how is it irrelevant. I can't discuss this anymore. It's really so simple and a no brainer to know that NE had no choice but to let them score. I'm done here. - MJL

trade for weber????? - Slammed81
I should have put a there I guess. I thought the " " made it obvious that I was joking (as much as I'd like Weber in O & B, I realize that is pretty much a pipe dream and it would cost a lot more than just van Cartsdyk ). |

Are you seriously telling me that letting them score somehow surprised you? That you have ever seen it happen before?
I am amazed. You are all acting as if some sort of fix was in because New England did what 99.99% of the billions of people watching the game knew was going to happen because that is what always happens in that situation, many times before? Seriously?!
I am perplexed....

Guess whatever happens, happens. I dunno wtf is gonna happen but its fun to talk about. Just heard the Boston Bruins might wanna re-aquire Gill. Christ that would only make that team tougher to play against - bigmookalookie
if Gill ends up back with Boston, watch out. Chara, Lucic, Horton, Gill, Boychuk, Ferance, Thornton. Just hand them the Cup again because that's a tough team to play against. Do they want Andrew Alberts back too? |

They can take on a full season cap hit for that amount. Actually, since they have 23 guys on the roster, they have a little bit more room, because to add another player they'd have to either IR somebody or send somebody to the AHL |

VERY stupid. Even the announcers were saying it. But somehow the fix was in.
Mind blowing. There will be a congressional investigation!

They will gain room when Briere and JVR are ready to play, and they will send a player or two back down to the AHL.

The distance is irrelevant, the fact of the matter is the giants fought the bills in that game into a choking situation. The Giants made the Bills try to beat them they couldn't. Making a kicker miss a field goal or blocking a kick is less risky than trying to score a TD with less than a minute and one timeout. - JoeRussomanno
Sorry but he is right Joe |
