Cut him slack yourself. He has no business on the team, let alone logging 20+ minutes. - hscesq
Blame the coach, he's not going to refuse icetime. He's one of the few guys still making an effort that's why Cunneyworth plays him |

I'm thinking the problem is, in Montreal, the highs are REALLY high. The playoff euphoria from 2 years ago was probably for most of these guys the most exciting playoff run they ever had, in a hockey crazed market.
But when reality settles and you are no longer a "hero", it'S like it messes with their brains and they collectively fall apart.
Also, Gomez sucks. - Pecafan Fan
Seems fair to me. You could get treated like a god or a bum in Mtl. we live in extremes? I don't see the big deal. |

It didn't sound like he was dropping them to me.
He was rather hurling them at all the non-believers...

It's his last year in the NHL anyway, cut him some slack. He's got 8 points and only -1 on a cluster(frank) team. - Fredobface
Joey Crabb for Mathieu Darche and a 4th
Leafs get the French scapegoat they need since Phillipe Dupuis got waived. Habs get an Alaskan to help Gomez, he looks like he could use a friend out there. |

lol.
I don't think EE understands what some of us are saying/hoping for...when he goes on about the NJ and OTT turnarounds...it's not like we want the habs to start rebuilding for 5 years, it's just we want them to get a good draft pick out of this current CLUSTER(frank) OF A LOST SEASON...

So my buddy just walked into the office.
He is going to the game tonight, his current record is 0-9.
His plan.......to exercise two demons tonight, as he is also wearing a Gomez jersey to help break his goal drought

this 4th is actually more valuable than both players combined.

Fans play really good money to watch these guys, it pays their salary. Really, the fans are the boss and if their not happy with the preformance they have every right to voice that displeasure. - Cape Breton Bruins
I don't agree. It's doesn't help in any way to boo the team during a game. If you want to help you have to root for them. The right time to boo is at the very end of the game when the bell rings. At this point (the end of the game) the players don't need to be encouraged anymore and the messages is best delivered this way and understood by the players and the management.
Mockery and boos directed to a player during a game doesn't help at all. |
