lol.

I don't think EE understands what some of us are saying/hoping for...when he goes on about the NJ and OTT turnarounds...it's not like we want the habs to start rebuilding for 5 years, it's just we want them to get a good draft pick out of this current CLUSTER(frank) OF A LOST SEASON...

- number_23

It's funny that EE didn't mention NJ's best player was out for most of the season (Parise played 13 games) and Kovalchuk had a horrible season, Brodeur was also injured for a while last year, only played 53 instead of around 65-70.

So my buddy just walked into the office.
He is going to the game tonight, his current record is 0-9.

His plan.......to exercise two demons tonight, as he is also wearing a Gomez jersey to help break his goal drought

Henry Ziegland thought he had dodged fate. In 1883, he broke off a relationship with his girlfriend who, out of distress, committed suicide.

The girl's brother was so enraged that he hunted down Ziegland and shot him.

The brother, believing he had killed Ziegland, then turned his gun on himself and took his own life.

But Ziegland had not been killed. The bullet, in fact, had only grazed his face and then lodged in a tree. Ziegland surely thought himself a lucky man.

Some years later, however, Ziegland decided to cut down the large tree, which still had the bullet in it. The task seemed so formidable that he decided to blow it up with a few sticks of dynamite. The explosion propelled the bullet into Ziegland's head, killing him.

I just think he's overreacting...the team is not typically that bad, but it is this year. So when you're this bad at a given time, why not make the most of it. And next year is a brand new season...and the team with a new management and coaching staff will get a clean slate. Hopefully they won't suck so bad that by x-mas we are all clamoring for another top 3 pick.

I'm thinking the problem is, in Montreal, the highs are REALLY high. The playoff euphoria from 2 years ago was probably for most of these guys the most exciting playoff run they ever had, in a hockey crazed market.

But when reality settles and you are no longer a "hero", it'S like it messes with their brains and they collectively fall apart.

Also, Gomez sucks.

- Pecafan Fan

The brutal part is that he does have skill.. if he were a plug (well he wouldn't have received a $7M contract) this would be easier to understand.
