Booing someone showing effort is a new thing in Montreal. And it is just gonna get worse with people who have a mindset like yours.

Like I said, boo the poop out of lack of effort and bad performances. I think players and teams accept that.

I love how all of a sudden, because Gomez went to the front of the net against the Jets, he's now a hard working guy who deserves to be cheered by the fans for his honest effort.

For the record, I don't boo. Never have, probably never will either.

But if people want to boo, more power to them, they have their reasons. And in the case of Gomez, well, he deserves every ounce of it.

Again, he wasn't booed on Sunday. People wanted him to score so bad that they booed when it was announced that he DIDN'T score.
